Factory-overhauled engines and related equipment from G&M EUROTEX are restored to peak condition, backed by guarantee and achieve full life expectancy. Refurbished engines represent a cost-effective alternative to an upgrade and the associated costs of changing engine model.
Inspection forms a large part of G&M EUROTEX activities; typically, during refurbishments, over 673 measurements and over 55 levels of inspection are applied throughout, and engines are rigorously tested against a dynamometer. Measuring equipment includes a fixed computer measuring machine (CMM) and a ROMER arm coordinate measuring machine, both capable of measuring to 6 decimal places. The ROMER arm has an integrated scanner, allowing laser scanning and reverse engineering of components. All overhaul and test protocols are recorded and certified to Lloyd’s ISO 9001:2015, and we welcome the attendance of our customers to witness all testing procedures at our facility.
We also specialise in generator and propulsion engine conversion, and we are UK’s leading supplier of custom industrial, marine and offshore gensets.
